Strike Protests in Lahore Punjab, business closed


Demonstrations were held in many cities of Punjab.

In Lahore, Jamaat-e-Islami is protesting on Mall Road. Participants are holding placards in their hands. The protesters raised slogans against the previous government and the caretaker government.



Due to the protest, the road leading from Mall Road to Lower Mall was closed for traffic.


A protest rally was organized by Jamaat-e-Islami in Raiwind, a suburb of Lahore. All business centers of the city remained closed.

Strike Situation in Karachi Today in Lahore

A shutter down strike is being conducted by business organizations in Multan, while Jamaat-e-Islami is also protesting at Chowk Kachhari.


In Jhelum, traders are protesting against the sudden increase in electricity and petrol prices, there is a shutter down strike, lawyers have also boycotted the courts.


There is a shutterdown in Gujranwala on the call of Jamaat-e-Islami, most of the city's markets and business centers are closed.


A shutter-down strike is being held in Faisalabad on the call of Jamaat-e-Islami and Anjuman Tajran. All small business centers and markets in the city are closed.


Jamaat-e-Islami also set up a protest camp at Ghanta Ghar Chowk.


Protest rallies were taken out by Anjuman Tajran and Jamaat-e-Islami in Jahanian and all business centers in the city are closed.


Private schools protest


Pakistan Private Schools Management Association also protested against the cruel tax on electricity bills in Rawalpindi.


Students of private schools also participated in the demonstration, the protesters raised slogans against the government.


Strike Protests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPk


In Peshawar, Jamaat-e-Islami activists forcibly shut down shops on Ashraf Road while attempts were made to stop BRT buses as well.


Jamaat-e-Islami workers gathered at GT Road. Workers also threw burnt tires on the BRT route.
