Punjab fixed the minimum wage of the laborer at 32 thousand rupees per month Notification
Lahore: While increasing the wages of labor in the largest province of Pakistan. Punjab Minimum Wages Board increased the wages of labour to 32000 rupees per month.
Regarding the increase in the minimum wages of labours a gazette notification, has also been issued after the approval of the Governor of Punjab. the gazette notification has-been issued by the Secretary, Minimum Wages Board, Punjab.

It should be noted that during the extraordinary constitutional and political situation in June last year, in a meeting called by the governor in Iqbal House. Punjab Finance Minister Mr Owais Leghari presented the provincial budget of 32 trillion 26 billion rupees for the fiscal year 2022-23. In which it was decided to increase the salary of government employees by 15% & increase the minimum wage of day laborers & laborers from 20,000 to 25,000 rupees.
It should be remembered that earlier. Former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had announced an increase in the minimum wage of workers in 2021 & set it at Rs 20000 per month.
He had also said that Punjab became the only province where the minimum wage was increased from 18 thousand rupees to 20 thousand rupees.
It should be noted that 2 days ago. Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori wrote a letter to the Sindh Chief Minister to fix the salary of private sector employees at least 50 thousand & to increase the salaries of government employees by 40%.

The Governor of Sindh had suggested to the Government of Sindh that the salaries of private sector employees should be fixed at least 50000 Rs in the budget.
Industry and Trade Jam Ikramullah Dharijo had announced that the provincial government has fixed the minimum expenditure of 25 thousand rupees.
He had more said that the government is aware of the problem faced by the common man & all employers and factory owners are bound to pay at least Rs 25,000 to their non Indian workers from 1 June 2022.
