Former President of Pakistan General (R) Pervez Musharraf passed away on Sunday due to illness.
Musharaf after being diagnosed with amyloidosis in 2018. His health continued to deteriorate.
Pervaiz Musharraf who has-been ill for a long time. Was undergoing treatment at the American Hospital in UAE Dubai.

Mr. Pervez Musharraf was residing in Dubai for the past 7 years.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief over the death of Mr.Pervez Musharraf & prayed for his forgiveness.

Army of Pakistan ISPR
The spokesperson of the Army of Pakistan ISPR: Said that in a statement that the top leadership of the army has expressed grief over his death.
According to the statement: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee & Services Chiefs express their heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of former Military President and Chief of Army Staff Pervez Musharraf. May Allah forgive the deceased & grant patience to the bereaved.

Musharraf Pervaiz served as the head of Pakistan for nine years but resigned when a coalition government of the Pakistan People Party & the PML Pakistan Muslim League-N was formed in 2008.
On 18 August 2008. He announced his resignation in a televised address to the nation. The last sentence of his last address was Pakistan ka Khuda Hafiz.
After resigning: He always claimed that Pakistan economic indicators were positive and improved during his 9 years in power.
Mr Prervez Musharraf is the only military ruler in the political history of Pakistan who faced multiple cases after leaving power.
Among them Benazir Bhutto murder case was at the top until 2013. But then a case of high treason was also made under Article 6 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Early life of Pervez Musharraf
Pervez Musharraf was born on 11 August 1943 in Delhi. After the establishment of Pakistan his family moved to Karachi.
There he spent his childhood & got his education. He got commissioned in Pakistan Army on 19th April 1964.
He participated in the wars of 1965 & 1971. In 1997. Mangala was the Corps Commander. after which he became the Army Chief.
General Pervez Musharraf. Who became the army chief in October 1998. overthrew the elected government & imposed martial law in October 1999.
He was elected as the President of Pakistan in 2001 & resigned from his post in August 2008.
He then moved to London & founded his own political party All Pakistan Muslim League in October 2010.

Cases on Pervez Musharraf
When the Pakistan Muslim League PML-N government came to power in 2013. It filed an Article VI case against Pervez Musharraf on the basis of the imposition of emergency on 3 November 2007.
In December 2013. The trial began at the National Library of Islamabad where a special court was set up for security reasons.
Before the Article 6 case. There was another case in the Islamabad High Court of Judges Detention Case.
The court ordered his arrest from the court room but before that former president Pervez Musharraf had already left the court premises surrounded by commandos.
The special court sent notices to Pervez Musharraf several times. But despite that he did not appear before the court. Instead the vehicles went to the AFIC army heart disease hospital while coming to the court.
On 31 March 2014 Pervez Musharraf appeared before a special court & was charged.
He was not at all remorseful about the violation of the constitution or the imposition of emergency. But he denied the health crime while presenting an explanation in the court at that time.
In March 2016. The court allowed Pervez Musharraf to visit Dubai on humanitarian grounds due to his mother ill health and to meet her.
In December 2019: The verdict in the article 6 case of unconstitutionality came in which the court sentenced him to death.
General Musharraf eyes used to have tears in the name of Pakistan
Major General (r) Rashid Qureshi. a close associate of Pervez Musharraf also said in a special conversation with Urdu read that he spent 12 long years with Pervez Musharraf.
Earlier when Pervez Musharraf was Corps Commander Mangala Rashid Qureshi was Brigadier.
After coming to power General Rashid Qureshi was Mr. Pervez Musharraf Chief of Staff and Spokesman of the Presidency.
He also said that Pervez Musharraf was principled as hard as he looked his heart was soft inside.
He always admitted his mistake immediately. Once I had an argument with General Musharraf & he scolded me for a difference of opinion. After which I came home.
At 11 o'clock at night my phone rang & my Begum picked it up & General Musharraf was on the other side.
When they asked about me Begum also also said that they were sleeping. Then General Musharraf said that I & Sahabah are coming to your people house to drink coffee.
At 12 o'clock in the night when he came home with the then army chief & President Begum he also said that today I had a discussion with you I later.
