Counting of votes in Hyderabad and karachi municipal elections continues results are coming.
Polling in 9 districts of Hyderabad Division:
Polling for local body elections was also held in nine districts of Hyderabad division today.
In Hyderabad, 2551 candidates. 839 in Jamshoro, 1436 in Dadu, 781 in Tandwalhiyar, 452 candidates in Tandu Muhammad Khan and 715 in Matiari are contesting on various seats.
Voting in 246 USCs of Karachi :
Voting was held in 984 wards of 246 union councils of 25 towns of seven districts of Karachi.
Each union council has 4 wards. The voter has to elect the general councilor of the ward in addition to the chairman & vice chairman. The chairman and vice chairman will have one vote. The 2nd vote will-be the general councilor. each union council will consist of 11 members, the union 6 members will be directly elected in the council.
Nine thousand 58 candidates are in the fray for the seat of Chairman. Vice Chairman & General Member in Karachi Division.
Sindh Local Government:
KARACHI: Counting of votes in 16 districts of Karachi & Hyderabad in the second phase of local body elections in Sindh is going on and unofficial & unofficial results have started coming.
The polling process: Which started at 8am today. Continued till 5 pm without any break. After 5pm o'clock only the voters present in the polling station were allowed to vote.
The low voting rate in the cold this morning improved after noon & people came out of their homes to decide the election of local body candidates. Some polling stations remained deserted. Some were crowded, compared to Karachi & Hyderabad polling stations in rural areas. The number of voters was high.

All arrangements regarding local body elections were completed yesterday. The Chief Election Commissioner says that the voters who reach the polling station premises by 5 pm should be allowed to vote.
The spokesperson of the Election Commission says that the Chief Election Commissioner has instructed the presiding, returning officers & election staff.
Second phase of local body elections in Sindh: Counting of votes continues across the province including Karachi Hyderabad
In the 2nd phase of local elections in Pakistan Sindh province. The counting of votes continues after polling in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions is over & inconclusive unofficial results are also coming out from some stations.
It should be noted that the MQM had announced a boycott:
Muttahida Qaumi Moment MQM chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui while addressing a news conference. He said that they do not recognize the local body elections held in Karachi & Hyderabad on Sunday. He also said that they are boycotting these elections due to the behavior of the Election Commission.

According to him going to the polls would mean that we have accepted the constituencies.
While holding a press conference in Karachi along with Farooq Sattar and former mayor of Karachi Mustafa Kamal. MQM Pakistan chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that it seems that MQM Pakistan. The Muhajir nation and the urban areas of Sindh are going to wall off. & there is a national consensus to elect a wall. So we are withdrawing from today election in protest at the attitude of the Election Commission & the indifference of not getting justice.
The Election Commission has not fulfilled its responsibility:
According to the head of MQM constituencies are only the responsibility of the Election Commission as per the constitution & law. The Election Commission has not fulfilled its responsibility. With our objection: we have not admitted that we have made a mistake & we will correct the mistake.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that such an election in which neither the voter list is correct. Nor the constituencies are correct. nor the arrangements are complete. Who is plotting & trying to win it?
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that sit at home and support our withdrawal. You also withdraw your right to vote because your vote will-not be counted correctly. He said that we do not recognize the election tomorrow. We will continue to raise our voice against it, we will make our people stand up, and tell that this election is a conspiracy against you. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that whoever comes to Karachi now will come on the charity of MQM and JI Jamaat-e-Islami is completely part of this conspiracy. I want to participate.

MQM will not separate from the government
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that he will continue to support the government & will not blackmail the government in view of the economic situation of the country.
It should be noted that earlier there were news about MQM Pakistan leaders considering separation from the government.
