Faisalabad Fire in Montgomery Bazaar number of dead has increased to 7
Fire Montgomery Bazar number of people who died due to fire in Faisalabad Montgomery Bazaar has reached seven.
WebDesk: According to the rescue team accident took place in Faisalabad busy Montgomery market where 6 people got burnt due to short circuit & one person died after jumping from the plaza.
3 people were also seriously injured in the accident who have been shifted to Allied Hospital for immediate medical assistance. All the deceased belong to the same family.
According to preliminary information the fire broke out on the upper floor of the Plaza in Montgomery Bazaar.
The plaza has shops on the ground floor while the upper floors are occupied by people. Aid officials say that the first death in the accident occurred when a person jumped down to escape the fire & fell on the roof of the shop and died.
The fire broke out late at night in the plaza near Ghanta Ghar which is the densest & busiest area of Faisalabad while the streets here are also narrow due to which relief operations were facing difficulties.
According to rescue officials, several people were living in the plaza which caused more casualties. According to the rescue teams the fire has been completely brought under control but the cooling process is going on.

According to fire brigade personnel it took four hours to extinguish the fire. According to hospital sources four children are also among the dead while a girl is missing whose search is on.
