Pakistan Railways has announced a new schedule of passenger trains that will come into effect from 15 October NEWS Agancy ToDay Update reported on Wednesday.
Railway department has changed the timings & routes of passenger trains for winter season.
Shalimar Express : up and 28 down will be operated from Khanewal-Sahiwal instead of Multan-Faisalabad while stopovers at Drig Road & Landhi have-been eliminated.
Pakistan Express (45 UP) will leave Karachi for Rawalpindi at 2:30 PM instead of 1 PM. Karakoram Express will depart from Lahore and Karachi at 3 pm at the same time while the stopover of train at Bahawalpur has also been restored.
Allama Iqbal Express : (9UP) will leave Sialkot for Karachi at 3:30 PM. Railway authorities have canceled Chak Lala stopover of Rawalpindi Express.

Pak Business Express will be operated from Jahanian route instead of Multan.
It is worth mentioning here that the train operation between Karachi & Lahore has been stopped for 27 days after several railway tracks in different cities were submerged due to floods.
