In the open market  rate of wheat decreased by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 86 per kg


a quota of 2400 sacks per mill per week of wheat has been issued to 90 flour mills in Karachi.

Rs.65 Flour dealers say that the official quota of wheat has not-been released to mills of Karachi so far.

Clean wheat is being sold to small mills at Rs 95 per kg.

Flour mills: Following  recent floods  Government of Sindh announced last week to raise price of flour to Rs.65 per kg & provincial minister Sindh Saeed Ghani also posted  Some lists of specific shops on Twitter.

In Sindh areas where according to announcement of government of  Sindh flour is available at 65rupees per kg queues of flour buyers have-been seen in front of the shops Dekandar Ahsan.

After recent floods in Sindh led to increase in the price of flour provincial government last week announced to increase price of flour to Rs.65 per kg.

After the  Government announcement flour has started being available in different areas of the provincial capital Karachi at new price but in some areas flour is still being sold at Rs.104 to 110 PKR per kg.

In areas where according to the announcement of  Sindh government flour is available at Rs.65 per kg queues of flour buyers have-been seen in front of the shops. Similarly mobile units of flour mills receiving subsidy from Sindh government were also seen in city.

On Tuesday Sindh Minister for Labour & Manpower  Mr Saeed Ghani shared list of shops in different areas of Karachi Mobile phone numbers & other details on Twitter & wrote:  Government of Sindh has started supplying flour to people at Rs.65 per kg. Is. Citizens of Karachi can also shop at bachat bazaars  Flour Mills selected mega stores and stalls in different areas of city apart from the places listed & more areas will be added to the list in next few days.

News Agancy called a shop in  Karachi Sohrab Goth to find out whether flour is available at listed shops at Rs.65 per kg as per the rate announced by Sindh government. Till now flour has not been sent by the Sindh government & the price of the flour they have is Rs.110 per kg.

Nizamuddin a shopkeeper at number 48 in the list shared by Saeed Ghani who according to list has procured Sindh government subsidized flour from Korangi Sector CKMA Lasani Flour Mills told News Agancy that he  Sindh government has announced that the flour has not yet arrived

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon says that the supply of flour to public has started from concession stalls in Sindh from where people can buy flour at Rs 65 per kg.
