Qatar Football World Cup 2022: Calendar of Football World Cup to be held in Qatar

Qatar Calendar: Start of the 2022 Football World Cup is just a few months away. These competitions will be held in the Arab country of Qatar between November 21 & December 18 while the 1st match of the tournament will-be played between Senegal & the Netherlands.

Football Calendar: This is the 1st time that a Middle Eastern country Qatar is hosting this world competition & it is also the 1st time that Football World Cup 2022 is being held in winter.

Qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup began 3 years ago. The French team that won the 2018 World Cup is included in these competitions but the current European champion Italy could not qualify.

For the finals 32 teams have-been divided into eight groups of four. Teams from the same continent are placed in separate groups but a group can have a maximum of 2 European countries.

04 matches will-be played daily in the group stage of the twelve day competition & 2 teams from each group will qualify 4 the next stage.
