Islamabad: The Interior Ministry has asked the governments of Pakistan administered Kashmir & Gilgit Baltistan in addition to the four provinces to provide information on law enforcement personnel stationed at the houses of those provinces in the federal capital Islamabad.

Apart from this information has also been provided about the personnel on duty in the name of security outside Bani Gala residence of former Pm Imran Khan.


Dozens of Frontier Constabulary FC personnel besides police from Khair Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan provinces are stationed outside the house of former prime minister & PTI  pakistan Tehreek Insaf chairman Imran Khan.

The move by the Interior Ministry was taken by the Islamabad Police and the administration some law enforcement personnel stationed at these houses allegedly providing assistance to protesters during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI May 25 protests engaging in suspicious activities. Raised based on involvement concerns.


Islamabad is home to Punjab House Sindh House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House Balochistan House Gilgit Baltistan House & Kamsher House.


Islamabad Police Chief Dr Akbar Nasir told the British news that he had written a letter to Interior Ministry especially regarding the presence of law enforcement officials from other parts of the country outside the residence of former Prime Minister  And chairman PTI Imran Khan. He said the purpose of the letter was to provide official information on how law enforcement & Frontier Constabulary personnel had gathered in Bani Gala without the permission of Islamabad police & without informing them. 


He said that the personnel of KPK Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Gilgit Baltistan & Pakistan administered Kashmir Police were present outside the house of the former Prime Minister at least they were not called by the federal government to assist Islamabad Police.


Police officials also need information on how many of these police and Frontier Constabulary personnel have-been stationed at different houses for how long. In addition information about the service record of these personnel should be provided.


The British news has learned that some reports have been sent to the Interior Ministry by the intelligence agencies that apart from Punjab & Sindh other houses and law enforcement personnel stationed in Bani Gala had attacked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI on May 25. During the K Long March party provided assistance to its workers in accessing the Red Zone & Blue Area.


It is to be noted that former Prime Minister Imran Khan had openly stated in various public meetings that his life was in danger. He was posted outside Azam Bani Gala residence. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is currently the government in these parts of the country.


In addition to these law enforcement officials a significant number of PTI workers are also present in Bani Gala to prevent anyone from coming to arrest former PM Imran Khan.
