 Russia signals  Accept recognition of Taliban interim government

 Russia Taliban : Mascow can recognize Taliban interim government Special Representative Zameer Kabulo

Russia special envoy to Afghanistan Government Zamir Kabulov hinted at recognizing  Taliban interim government.

Speaking to Russian media Mr Zamir Kabulov said that the Taliban Government of Afghanistan Deputy Minister of Commerce would visit Moscow & that Afghanistan had requested Russia to purchase some products.

He said Russian president had given permission to allocate grain to Afghanistan.

Asked about recognizing  Taliban government of Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said Moscow could recognize the Taliban's interim government & Russia would not follow the United States & other countries in recognizing the Taliban government.

It should be noted that the Taliban government in Afghanistan has not been formally recognized by any country so far & recently the Taliban had appealed to Islamic countries to recognize government.
