All he had to do was go to a store get his order pay & get it. Acquiring weapons so easily is incomprehensible in any other country.
But not in United States of America where gun ownership is a fundamental right of citizens and is constitutionally protected under Second Amendment to the US United States Constitution.

What is this constitutional right and why is it needed US?
On 15 December 1791 newly formed United States ratified Bill of Rights first ten amendments to the Constitution that affirm the fundamental rights of its citizens.
Under this constitutional amendment right to bear arms was equated with the right to freedom of expression press religion & assembly.
If an organized militia is necessary for the security of an independent state then right of people to possess & bear arms will not be violated.
Second Amendment to US United States Constitution
In 1791 United States of America US occupied about 1 3rd of its territory with aim of expanding it westward. The victory over Britain in the War of Independence 1775-83 in which militia played a key role didn't last long.
Militias were armed groups that came together to protect their communities towns & colonies & when country declared independence in 1776 states finally came into being.
National Assembly passed Anty Overseas Voter Bill
The most common weapon at time was the musket weapon 1 of the artifacts of the infantry & was used until the nineteenth century.
At a time when American cultural identity was being established many considered regular soldiers to be instruments of power capable of oppressing civilians & believed that best way to defend themselves was to use their weapons. Take it with you & if necessary form a militia or armed group or join them.
In fact opponents of federalism opponents of a strong central government rejected the existence of a professional army although it was established like many other things because it was deemed necessary in the event of an external aggression.
Thus, after the formal ratification of the Constitution in 1788 it was formally ratified by James Madison ¹ of the founders of the United States & later President of the United States of America.
In United States America USA he drafted a second amendment aimed at empowering militias in the states. & while Second Amendment did not limit the government ability to enforce the law through the use of force it did deprive civilians of the right to disarm.
One edit two concepts USA
For years in the United States America US advocates for right of citizens to bear arms have seen the Second Amendment as a guarantee of their rights. According to a National Rifle Association document the Second Amendment is important in protecting the rights of gun owners who abide by the law.
The NRA with 5.5 million members is 1 of the most influential special interest groups In US American politics and opposes frequent proposals to tighten gun control regulations.

Opponents of gun ownership however focus more on 1st part of the Second Amendment text which points to an organized militia.
The ideologues of this second position argue that the purpose of the constitution makers in 1791 was not to give citizens individual right to bear arms but to establish a collective right of defense in event of external aggression.
Thus they believe that people should not have the individual right to own and possess firearm & that federal state & local authorities can declare such weapons organized restricted or prohibited without their being unconstitutional.
