It may be recalled that a delegation of Pakistani origin and Pakistani citizens had visited Israel this month. Apart from visiting important places including Parliament House, the participants of this delegation have also met with important personalities including the President of Israel.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI has strongly objected to the visit and criticized the current government, which is still the subject of debate in Pakistan.

Regular objections to the visit have been raised by senior PTI leader and former Federal Minister for Human Rights Shirin Mazari. Mazari has criticized the two members of the 15 member delegation.
