PML N leader Chaudhry Tanveer arrested from Karachi airport
KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz PML N leader Chaudhry Tanveer has been taken into custody from Karachi Airport.
According to sources PML-N leader Chaudhry Tanveer was arrested by FIA from Karachi airport while he was fleeing abroad.
According to the FIA spokesperson PML N leader Chaudhry Tanveer is wanted by the NAB in corruption cases. It should be noted that a raid was carried out in Rawalpindi 2 days ago to arrest Chaudhry Tanveer. He is accused of occupying 45 kanals of government land.

According to officials former senator Chaudhry Tanveer had illegally built a house & a plaza on the occupied land. A case has been registered against him in anti corruption.
It may be recalled that in 2019 anonymous zone of FBR had filed a reference against Senator Chaudhry Tanveer in the Educating Authority.

The FBR said that Senator Chaudhry Tanveer owns 7,125 kanals of land, the value of the property is more than Rs 15 billion while the land is in the name of watchman, security guard and gunman.
