No confidence motion against Imran Khan: Who is meeting whom claims and allegations of offer of Rs 100 million
Political turmoil has been raging since the opposition filed a no confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. Political activity in Islamabad is on the rise with allies meeting the prime minister on 1 hand & leaders of the opposition on the other.

After three and a half years Prime Minister Imran Khan has met his ally MQM (Pakistan) in Karachi. Meanwhile Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has accused the opposition of buying PTI members.
Although Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday reacted to the no confidence motion filed by the opposition saying Government is not going any where this is the last incident of the opposition nothing will happen after 2028. But messages are being received from allies that are adding to the government woes.

During his 1 day visit on Wednesday He also slammed the opposition in his speech. In Karachi Prime Minister also visited Bahadurabad the temporary headquarters of his ally Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan where he met the MQM delegation for about half an hour. Apart from Aminul Haq a member of National Assembly from the party MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui himself is part of Imran Khan cabinet.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Federal Minister Asad Umar Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Ali Zaidi were also present in the meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
MQM leader Aamir Khan told the media that they are allies of the government but our options are open regarding the no Confidence motion. In response to another question he said Neither they have asked for assurances nor we have given them any assurances. Whatever we decide we will do in the interest of the people. Responding to a question MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said Apart from mistrust we don't trust the entire system.
However an account from the Prime Minister Office claimed that the political situation had been discussed with the MQM assuring full support in the meeting.
According to analyst Zahid Hussainbthis is biggest political challenge the PTI government has ever faced. According to him instead of an alliance of the opposition it is an internal revolt of the party which has become a problem for the PTI.
According to analyst & journalist Naseem Zehra nothing can be said about the government allies yet.
Naseem Zehra told the News .that opposition has come forward with some preparation this time due to which manipulation has reached its peak at this time. According to himbon the other hand from the speeches and confidence of Prime Minister Imran Khan it seems that government is capable of countering this movement. However he said it was a tough competition and it would be premature to say anything about the final outcome.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister Office Prime Minister has also met with public representatives elected members of PTI Sindh Assembly and party leadership at provincial and divisional level to mobilize party workers in Sindh province.
Imran Khan later met members of the GDA Grand Democratic Alliance at the Governor House.
On Wednesday Prime Minister Imran Khan also met Tariq Bashir Cheema a member of his cabinet from another coalition party the PML Q. Defense Minister Pervez Khattak was also present in the meeting.
After the meeting PMLbQ chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain called on former president Asif Ali Zardari and was accompanied by Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema. It may be recalled that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Tuesday called on Maulana Fazlur Rehman head of Jamiat Ulema e Islami JUI Fa at his residence in Islamabad.
On Wednesday Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif also met Amir Sirajul Haq of Jamaat e Islami. Jamaat e Islami JI currently has one seat in the National Assembly. Talking to media along with Siraj-ul-Haq Shahbaz Sharif said that people want an incompetent corrupt government to go home. According to him we will go to the people for a new mandate by removing this government in a constitutional manner.
Opposition leaders have not yet released details of their strategy if the noconfidence motion is successful.
It may be recalled that earlier former President Asif Ali Zardari had also met Ameer JI Siraj ul Haq & asked him to vote on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto on Thursday summoned all his members of National Assembly to Sindh House in Islamabad while PML N President Shahbaz Sharif has already held meetings with his members regarding the no-confidence motion.
Speaker donot hang the nobconfidence motion for too long bring it in the House as soon as possible: Fawad Chaudhry
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said We are requesting the Speaker not to prolong the no confidence motion for too long. May be.
He said that the opposition has to show 172 people in the house but at present we have more than 179 members supporting Imran Khan & with the addition of 5 more members the total number will be 184 members.

Fawad Chaudhry said Now we are not ready for any kind of dialogue with opposition. We tried our best to talk about electoral reforms & other issues but if they do not get respect then what can we do.

Jahangir Tareen Group met on the changing political situation in Punjab. Jahangir Tareen group is demanding removal of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar.
