JUI workers arrested in operation in Parliament Lodges remained
Islamabad Police in Pakistan federal capital Islamabad on Thursday evening released all workers arrested in an operation against parliamentarians in Ansarul Islam a suborganization of the opposition Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam JUI-F.
Islamabad police arrested 19 Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam
JUI-Factivists on the grounds that the organization had been outlawed since 2019 and that Ansarul Islam was a private militia.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam JUI-F had given the government a deadline of nine o clock in the morning to release the workers.
Earlier as a result of these arrests Senator Kamran Murtaza of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam JUI-F had filed a petition in the Islamabad Police Station Secretariat seeking registration of case against DIG Police ADC & Home Minister.
The petition claimed that the police broke down the door of MNAs lodge forced their way inside and took the occupants hostage.
Kamran Murtaza has also alleged that police tortured him and other people.
Earlier Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid while addressing a press conference in Islamabad said that Ansar-ul-Islam is a private militia which was declared illegal during October 2019. We have 19 members of the private militia he said. We did not arrest Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi & Jamaluddin members of the same party in the National Assembly. They are sitting in the police station out of curiosity.
He said that an attempt was made to hold talks with Ansarul Islam workers for five hours on Thursday evening but they tortured the law enforcement agencies and blew up government vehicles.

According to the Neqs Shehzad Malik, Ansar al-Islam activists have been roaming the parliament lodges since Thursday morning & their presence was being mentioned on social media.
He said that the security of Parliament Lodges was the responsibility of the Speaker National Assembly and this operation was ordered by him.
According to Shehzad Malik opposition leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Kamran Murtaza were injured during the operation.
However Islamabad Police said in a message on Twitter that Ansar-ul-Islam Force workers forcibly entered the Parliament Lodges. & suspended the line officer and then directed the operation.
In his message Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that the attack on Parliament Lodges by Jamiat goons was reprehensible in all respects.
The Speaker Assembly has directed the Islamabad Police to take stern action against the facilitators of these groups. Inshallah according to the law, these thugs and facilitators will be dealt with.
It may be recalled that coalition of opposition parties has filed a no confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the interest of country while government officials have made it clear that they will fight the opposition.

In the videos circulating on social media it can be seen that the police contingent enters the Parliament Lodges and takes away the JUI-F National Assembly MNA members besides Ansarul Islam workers.
However Islamabad police said in a statement that they had not arrested Salahuddin Ayubi & Jamal Adding both MNAs but that they were fighting for the release of their workers" and that they should not leave the police station. But Egypt is.
Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by elections. PML-N President and Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif has demanded immediate withdrawal of police force from Parliament Lodges.

Shahbaz Sharif claims that the siege of MPs by the police is proof of Imran Niazi defeat before the no confidence motion. It is dictatorship and fascism for the police to go to lodges in violation of the privacy constitution and law of the MPs.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam JUI-F has directed his party workers to reach Islamabad.
I present my arrest he told the media. We will fight you we will fight on the field. Workers who cannot reach should block roads in their respective cities.
PML N leader Khawaja Asif has said that it was a failure of the Speaker National Assembly that he could not protect the Parliament Lodges.
Pakistan Peoples Party spokesperson Shazia Murree has condemned police raid on Parliament Lodges.Prime Minister Imran Niazi cannot intimidate MPsshe said.
The police and the administration should not follow the illegal orders of the puppet Prime Minister and even dictator Pervez Musharraf could not dare to do so. Niazi has exposed himself.
