A farmer who breeds red bag (cockroaches) in the African country of Tanzania has told the BBC how the business has changed his fortunes.


"When I started red bag farming, people thought I was crazy, but now I make a lot of money from this business," said Luis Cavago.


And now it looks like the Red Crescent is embracing the East African country.

Last month, a video of a well-known Tanzanian singer and model Sumo Hamesi eating a "nutritious red bag" went viral.
