Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qaddos Bizenjo has directed the IG police to suspend the police personnel involved and conduct an impartial inquiry into the incident and submit a report.

Following the directive of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the SSP of Quetta Police ordered an inquiry after suspending Additional SHO Naveed Mukhtar and the said officials for "irresponsible behavior" in the case of arrest of women.

A statement issued by the Balochistan Chief Minister's Office said that if the arrest of the women was necessary, action would have been taken by the lady police officer. This attitude of the police is absolutely unacceptable.
