According to details, deaths were reported in Kaniz Fatima Society, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Sher Shah and North Karachi.
A resident of North Nazimabad was killed when a wall of his house collapsed while two others including a woman were injured in a similar incident in Mowach Goth area.
Rescue sources said that a man was injured when a power pole fell in Orangi Town.
A man was electrocuted in Landhi area.
The PMD has said that strong winds will blow in Karachi on January 21 (today).
According to the Meteorological Department, winds are blowing at a speed of 45 to 54 km per hour (km per hour) in the inner city while in coastal areas their speed may increase up to 63 km per hour.
Strong winds are expected to continue tonight.
On the other hand, the annual convocation of Karachi University - which was scheduled to take place on January 22 - has been postponed due to inclement weather.
According to university sources, the new date will be announced later.
